I understand why she made a perfect man list after dealing with enormous heartbreak but come on: Mick O’Sullivan was great catch from the beginning even though they’ve met under mortal and casket-y circumstances! Especially some of her decisions made me scream and feel a quite itchy urge to slap her and Mike turned into a doormat even though he’s a consultant and he should easily understand her wrongful and unhealthy patterns from miles away. My first hesitation comes with the heroine.
I even passed to read the blurb of this book after seeing the author’s name and this vivid- enchanted cover! So I was expecting so much more! Honestly I could love this book a little more and I could be more patient with the unreasonable actions the main character has taken but my expectations were too high after reading the previous brilliant work of Melonie Johnson. Hmm… semi satisfied unpopular review is heating up in the oven and ready to be served in few minutes!
